Below is a history of news items in retrospective order (Last updated 1st September 2008) :-
- August 2008 - African Arts Day. Tony Ogogo - clay work, african drumming and this year tie-dying
- Summer 2008 performance - "Bobbing along" Underwater Spectacular.
- July 2008 - Barnados Big Toddle charity event. Children raised more than £383.
- June 2008 - Garlic Theatre Company - Production of the magnificent flying machine.
- May 2008 - Picnic-A-Thon in support of National Bread week, attended by the Mayor and Mayoress of Norwich.
- Summer 2008 - Garden update, this year harvest extended to include strawberries, potatoes, beans and chard which were used in the nursery kitchen.
- Easter 2008 - Easter Egg hunt in the gardens.
- December 2007 - Christmas performance "The Night Before Christmas".
- October 2007 - 2nd Ofsted Inspection. Quote "Its just like a second home for the children".
- August 2007 - African Arts Day. Tony Ogogo - storytelling, drumming and clay work.
- Summer 2007 performance - 3Rs "Reduce, Reuse, Recycle".
- Summer 2007 - The children help design the nursery garden, eventually harvesting tomatoes, carrots, cucumber, radishes and peas. Nursery wormery arrives.
- December 2006 - Christmas performance "The Hopeless Camel".
- End of August 2006 - Major renovations including new kitchen and office but most importantly underfloor heating.
- August 2006 - African Arts Day. Tony Ogogo from the Heritage Ceramics Centre, London spends another successful day with us.
- 1st October 2005 - Montessori School Associatoon Conference, Islington Business Centre London. Staff attended Conference and Creative Workshops: Musikgarten, June's Yoga and MakeBelieve Arts.
- August 2005 - New Slip-Resistant flooring is fitted to the Bell Tower Nursery Entrance, the cloakrooms and kitchen area.
- 22nd July 2005 - African Arts Day. Tony Ogogo from the Heritage Ceramics Centre, London spent the day with the children, telling African stories, teaching native dance and drumming, and each child had the chance to make a clay mask.
- 14th July 2005 - Visit from Philip Bujack, Chief Executive Officer Montessori School Association.
- June 2005 - New Outside Play Equipment. Arrival of new slide and trampoline for rear garden
- 24th June 2005 - Summer Performance. 28 Children entertained their parents and grandparents with a combination of music, dance and french. Children and their families enjoyed picnic lunch in the new garden to the rear of the nursery. Usborne Books and a French Childrens Clothing stall supported this event.
- 11th April 2005 - Montessori School Association Training in Bury St Edmunds. All staff attended Professional Development training at Bury St Edmunds. Workshops attended were Montessori Skills and Speech and Language.
- April 2005 - New Garden play area opened. The additional garden, to the rear of the nursery, was inspected by Ofsted to confirm suitability and opened for use to the children. This garden has a willow tunnel, willow igloo and vegetable beds for the children to explore and enjoy.
- 14th Feburary 2005 - Ofsted Inspection. First inspection carried out by Ofsted since the nursery opened in October 2003. A copy of the report is available in the nursery and from the Osfted website.
- November 2004 - French lessons begin on Monday mornings.
- July 2004 - Puppet Show.
- March 2004 - New Menu for both Lunch and Tea times. As part of the continuous improvement to services, a new supplier has been found with a more varied menu which includes both lunch and tea. New example menu lists are now available in the Aboutus section.
- Jan 2004 -The last Tuesday in January saw the commencement of Music and Movement, and in early February Ballet is also to start on Wednesday.
- 19th September 2003 - Ofsted have given registration after current inspection. This allows for an opening in 2 weeks time.
- 6th October 2003 - Grand Opening - Doors open at 8am. Evening News features article in School days 'An alternative for toddlers'.
